My Blogging Journey- Part 1

May 17, 2024 | Quinnie

Flowers in the background. Words “My Blogging Journey”

Will I succeed at blogging?  I have no idea whatsoever.  But I am willing to give it a try.

I love to write and I love to share what I write.  It is my goal to consistently create material that I am passionate about and then decide whether an audience is there that wants what I have to offer.

Timeline

What’s my timeline?  Honestly, I don’t have an exact timeframe in mind.  But I do believe giving myself a year to realistically allow some degree of success to happen, may be a good starting point.

But the thing is, there will be no failures.  I am at the cusp of an enlightening and beautiful journey.  I am so inspired and ready to see what I will learn and experience!

Encouragement

I will put myself out there and hopefully encourage others to begin their own postponed blogging journey.   Or any postponed learning journey for that matter.  I am currently in the midst of a postponed programming learning journey.  Being able to document my progress, will enable me to visibly see how far I’ve come.  That visibility cannot be minimized.

I hope to share lots of experiences right here on my blog and possibly on other channels of connection.  Sharing my personal journey has the potential to be a great reference point for beginners looking to step into the blogging waters.

“How I”

I have noticed in the online world,  there is no shortage of “how to” information.  But there is a shortage of “how I” information.  “How I” information builds a special connection to the reader.  Your audience doesn’t just want to hear about facts but they desire a special connection to the writer.  This special connection happens when there is a sharing of lessons learned.  They want to hear about the mistakes, the struggles, the accomplishments, the time invested, and the money spent.

And I’m here for it.  Let’s get started.
