Follow these six steps to enhance your femininity.
1. Take Care of Yourself Inside and Outside
Taking care of yourself is avoiding unrealistic expectations. Can lowering our standards ever be warranted? This may mean foregoing an outing or saying no to an extra workload.
For example, your friend may need your help for a last minute party she is attempting to throw. Your supervisor may need volunteers for a special project. Your kids may want to meet up with friends to go skating.
Our heart may want to seize all of these opportunities but physically and mentally we are just too taxed to see it come to fruition in a non stressful way. It’s okay to choose to avoid extra layers of stress and opt out of certain occasions. It may be a disappointment but life will continue and go on.
Taking care of yourself is being calm and gentle. Not constantly frantic or overly stressed. It means intentionally slowing down throughout the day. Remember, happiness is a mindset and is very intentional.
Taking care of yourself is having optimal health and investing time in your physical appearance. This means regular exercise, a good diet, a regular schedule of taking care of your hair and skin. Investing in your personal aesthetics does wonders to your confidence and self esteem.
2. Smile
Smiling is hands down one of the most feminine and beautiful accessories you can wear. A smile means warmth and openness. It’s an invitation to others, to show you care and are giving them your attention.
3. Soft Demeanor
Be kind to others. Your softness and gentleness is a strength. You become a magnet. You become memorable. That softness allows you to be receptive toward others and to become a positive influence.
If you admire something about a person, feel free to compliment them on it. Offer to help others in even little ways. Whether it is opening a door, allowing someone to go ahead of you in line or dropping a small thank you note to your children’s teacher.
4. Wear Dresses
A simple dress will set the mood for your whole day. It’s not complicated. It’s just one article of clothing that speaks volumes, when worn modestly. Our choice of clothing has a huge impact on how we feel and act. Get ready for lots of compliments from men and women and get ready for doors being held and pleasant smiles of admiration when you wear your dress.
5. Show Vulnerability
If you feel tired or taxed, ask for help. Whether it is your husband, child, a friend or family member. Don’t struggle to maintain a strong and independent status. There are no trophies to be had.
6. Learn to Be Spontaneous, Laugh and Be Playful
Be flexible. Stop being too serious and methodical in everything that you do. Take a different route home. Randomly stop at a park to let your kids play for a bit. Grab an ice cream. Take time to smell some flowers whether they be outside or at the supermarket. Engage in a conversation with the cashier at the supermarket. Pull over to take a picture of the sun setting and send it to a friend. Text a loved one and let them know you are thinking of them. If you make a silly mistake, learn to laugh at yourself and move on.
These steps will allow you to a embrace a softer, more feminine lifestyle.
